Sandy, as you and I discussed, should you have clients, or others, traveling to Amsterdam, I HIGHLY recommend the following individual as a tour guide. We had the pleasure of spending several days with Ingrid and found her very engaging, informative with ease of conservation & personable-just a pleasure of a person to be with. Ingrid not only toured us to the locations/places one would expect, but also to other interesting places that fit our desire to see areas outside of Amsterdam proper.
She impressed us as a “quality” person who absolutely aims to please. In addition to fluent English she speaks several languages. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

My family and I just returned to America from a Disney Rhine river cruise. Our last stop was the Zaanse Schans. What a wonderful place. We visited the Mayors house, a working windmill, a clog factory and a cheesemaking shop. YOU CAN’T GET ANYMORE DUTCH THAN THAT!!. We were lead by Ingrid and her team through the lovely village while she explained the inner workings and history of the village. She and her fellow guides were all very sweet, personable and informative. It was definitely a highlight of our 10 day trip along the Rhine. She also guided us through the Rijksmuseum which was incredible. I highly recommend having Ingrid guide you through Amsterdam and the surrounding areas. You will be amazed

Whilst walking around Zaanse Schans looking at the Mayors house, Ingrid gave us an inpromptue tour around the inside – of her home.

She was amiable and welcoming and the house is true to the period and defiantly as worth a see as any of the other attractions.

My husband and I toured Zaanse Schans with Ingrid and she was AMAZING!!!! She made the tour so engaging and wonderful! She actually lives in Zaanse Schans and took the time to show us her beautiful house and served us lemonade – who does that??? Well Ingrid did and she made the personalized tour so much more with her engaging personality and knowledge. She even taught my husband a clog dance. Best tour we had in Amsterdam. We booked a small group 3-hour Zaase Schans tour departed from Amsterdam, in advance via online. It was one of the best decision really. 4 of us with another 2, a mother and son team from Melbourne Australia. We met our driver in front of Barbizan Palace Hotel opposite Amsterdam Centraal exactly as per informed by online purchase. Our guide, Ingrid is a lovely lady with knowledge of tis absolutely super tour. A tea n cake invitation to her warm n cozy home was an honour. We strongly recommend tis tour.
